2015 Golden Globe Predictions

I'm looking forward to another year with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosting. I don't feel like there are many set winners this year as compared to last. But that could just be me since I've only seen 3 of the nominated movies (2 of which are in the Animated category). I have more knowledge of the nominated tv shows, but that has never helped me before. Let's see if 2015 is my year.

Best Motion Picture, Drama

Boyhood
Foxcatcher
The Imitation Game
Selma
The Theory of Everything

Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy

Birdman
The Grand Budapest Hotel
Into the Woods
Pride
St. Vincent

Revisiting 2014 Resolutions

This resolution evaluation is a little late, but what can you expect from a gal who hasn't posted since the end of August. Without any further ado, let's take a trip down memory lane to my 2014 resolutions
  1. Post more regularly.
That was an epic fail. I posted 5 times over 2014. Whoops.
  2. Read more books than last year.
I actually accomplished this. While I didn't reach my goal of 24 books, I did read more than in 2013 with a total of 16 books. Yay me!
  3. Craft more.
I did not craft more this year. I crafted less. There were maybe one or two papercutting projects I did in the beginning of 2014. And then, like my other resolution, nothing came of it.
  4. Be a better adult.
This resolution is a difficult to evaluate. But I think I became a better adult. At least I hope I did. I traveled on my own to California for a solo vacation. In June, I adopted a kitten so now I'm responsible for another living thing. I got a promotion. I went to the dentist. Those are all grown-up things. Just remember, Rome wasn't built in a day. Sitll have a long way to go before I'm an "adult".
